HOW DO I STOP MY RUG FROM SLIPPING?

We recommend using underlay to prevent your rug from slipping. Using supporting materials like anti-slip rug pads can add a form of safety and can add cushioning under your feet. In most cases, we recommend living with the rug for a couple of days to understand how it reacts to your floor and space. WHAT MATERIAL ARE YOUR RUGS MADE FROM?

We’re inclined to choose and import only the most practical, sustainable and durable materials; that’s why 99.9% of our rugs are handmade from wool, with some rugs having cotton elements. There is nothing better than nature’s materials; that’s why we believe in only natural fibres; you won’t see any polyester at our store.

HOW CAN I STOP MY RUG FROM CURLING UP?

One of the best ways to fix a curling rug is with the help of steam. The steam loosens the carpet's fibres, making them unfurl and flat. You can also iron or weigh down your carpet to uncurl it.

WHY ARE HAND-MADE RUGS SO SPECIAL?

Handmade rugs are more durable than machine-made rugs since they are not created with glue or adhesive but rather a human touch. Unlike machine-made rugs, handmade rugs do not deteriorate but only get better with age. With anything authentic, these rugs are woven to be used for generations. Most rugs are one-of-a-kind, meaning your rug is most likely the only one out there that looks like it; now, how special is that? When you’re buying a handmade rug, you are buying something unique, sustainable, and contributing to keeping this age-old craft alive.

My rug is shedding; what's going on?

When a rug sheds, a few little fibre fragments come out. Many fibre strands may also seem to be coming out of the rug. This is typical for a new rug and should subside after a few vacuums.

MY RUG SMELLS. IS THAT NORMAL?

Your rug can have a peculiar smell sometimes. The odour is non-toxic and fades away after leaving the carpet to air out. It could be because the rug may have been covered for a long time and not properly aired out.

SHOULD I HAVE AREA RUG PROFESSIONALLY CLEANED?

It is advised to get your rugs cleaned when necessary—cleaning your carpet once a year is sufficient if it is frequently used. Professional cleaning is required once every two to three years because of the subsequent wear and tear. Regular vacuuming is recommended to preserve your rug; just be vary of never vacuuming the edges or fringe of the rug.

CAN I USE DIFFERENT AREA RUGS IN THE SAME ROOM?

Absolutely! Use rugs with similar patterns and colours in various sizes if you like a more coherent look.
